So, New Year's Day, the boys were playing and Tony and I were drinking coffee. The idea of leaving town for the weekend came up. Options? Well, first was Hawaii and Tony seriously looked online for tickets! When we sadly came out of fantasy world, we thought of Disneyland, Monterey, etc. We finally made the choice of good ol' Yuba City...to visit my parents. What a place for a vacation!!! We wanted to do something specifically for the boys so we braved the very cold weather and headed to the Sacramento Zoo. We had a great time with the reptiles and the animals, rode the train, and played at the park. We found and named almost every character in the Jungle Book and Madagascar. Above is Jayden next to "Kaa" from the Jungle Book. Notice the fear???
